Adrian Hill, Oxford University researcher, has advanced in a webinar on COVID-19 of the Spanish Society of Rheumatology that the vaccine will be ready to be delivered from October.

The results of the clinical trials will be in August or September and it is already being manufactured in parallel.

The vaccine is based on live viruses, specifically in the adenovirus, with high replicability allowing fast and large scale reproduction.

The model would be annual and seasonal like the flu vaccine.

It is still unknown for how long the person would be immunized.

It is already being tested on humans, after demonstrating good results in chimpanzee trials, and it is not the only one that is in the clinical trial phase.
