Guided tours by volunteers to the Museum of Popular Arts and Customs of Seville

Guided tours of the Museum by senior volunteers.

The permanent exhibition contains a large number of pieces and objects classified thematically according to the discourse of the exhibition. These visits are intended to explain said content in an entertaining and participatory way, which focuses on household equipment, artisan trades, the popular and historical ceramics, the ceramics of La Cartuja, the transformation of metals, food processing, weights and measures, and the lace and embroidery works of the Díaz Velázquez collection.

To request a guided tour, go to the main page of the Museum: http://www.museosdeandalucia.es/cultura/museos/MACSE/, click on Access to the reservation platform for guided group visits and follow the steps that tell you. The Museum will confirm the chosen date and time to the indicated e-mail.

Remember that the guided tours will be held from Tuesday to Saturday in the morning and are aimed at groups of adults and schoolchildren from 12 years old.

Schedules

From 1 January to 15 June and 16 September to 31 December:
Tuesday to Saturday: of 9,00 a 20.00h.
Domingos y festivos: of 9,00 a 15,00 h.
Monday: closed.

From 16 June to 15 September:
Tuesdays to Sundays and holidays: of 9,00 a 15,00 h.
Monday: closed.

The Museum will open all holidays, except 1 and 6 January, 1 May and 24, 25 and 31 December, I remain closed to the public.

Opening holidays: 2 January, 28 February, 13 And 14 April, 30 May, 15 June, 15 August, 12 October, 1 November, 6 December, 8 December
Monday opening for being eves: 27 February and 14 August.
These times may be altered by the closure of María Luisa park where the museum is located, alert due to rains and strong winds.

Entrance
EU citizens accredited: free.
Other countries: 1, 50 euros.
