Schedule: Tuesday – Sunday: 10:00-21:00 h.

Poisons have terrorized the human being from the beginning of time to be a hidden danger in sight vital and often incomprehensible. Being a victim of a large predator is very different to be a small, mysterious creature endowed with a lethal power. Many living things contain toxic or poisonous substances they use to defend themselves from predators or capture prey. The presence of these substances involves the development of sophisticated mechanisms production, storage and injection of the venom. Exposure “POISON” It offers a journey through the world of venom through live venomous animals, mockups, interactive, infographics, audiovisual projections and historical elements. More than 400m2 dedicated to elaborate on the poison from different perspectives: biology, physiology, chemistry, literature, history, cinema… snakes, spiders, amphibians, scorpions, poisonous plants and even bodies may be seen in this exhibition.

two free guided tours included with general admission to the Museum will be offered: Saturdays, Sundays and holidays at 11 and 11.30 h.
