muddy ground around the stage. From the background a black man arrives. The feet sink into the mud. Limp right leg. Man comes slowly. And says: Take my body Firelord! Come and devastates this foreign land!

This man is a black slave brought forcibly from Africa to a land they had never heard. He will tell us, in a Portuguese still poorly learned, but full of powerful images and a unique poetic language how one day came to his village white men “ugly, with metal heads and iron skin, on the skin color of spoiled milk”. How they killed his wife, children and friends, how they destroyed his village and destroyed his people. How they were brought under the orders of one “the infant”, a great big boat “wooden mountains” to this land of exile. And such is her loneliness and sadness that the black man, Stripped of his handful of earth he evokes their gods and ask for death and the curse of foreigners and their descendants ...
