In Seville, private laboratories have already started the week with a wave of inquiries and requests for appointments from companies and individuals to undergo the Covid-19 tests..

Those tests are not covered by health insurance, not all mutual, but citizens are willing to pay if they have had contact with the virus or pass the disease in any other way.

The question is where to go to undergo this checkup and how much does it cost?

The first place to inform you would be the “Andalusian Health Service” They will respond to you through a phone call or the Salud Responde application.

“It will only be carried out to health personnel or to the staff of social devices such as nursing homes and centers for the disabled”.

Another option would be “Private clinics”, They are carried out to patients with symptoms that are being treated in their facilities and to the workers of the same, but not to private individuals.

The requirements to undergo these tests are to make an appointment and have the prescription of a public or private health practitioner who will decide the type of analysis.

Centers offer two options: Quick Test, that respond in just thirty minutes, and the PCR, that yield results within four to five hours.

The Rapid Test costs between 30 and 60 € ( As long as there is no need to repeat it) and the PCR, costs between 100 and 140 € (This is the most common).
