Smoking is prohibited in the street and nightclubs are closed throughout Spain

The Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, has announced the closure of nightclubs throughout the Spanish territory.

After the extraordinary meeting, a series of measures have been agreed to stop the coronavirus outbreaks in the country.

It has been agreed to decree the closure of discos, cocktail bars and concerts throughout the country.

The closing hours of the establishments will be 1:00 hours maximum, without being able to admit new clients from the 00:00.

Smoking on the street is also prohibited if you cannot keep two meters apart.

In addition, PCR tests will be carried out in the social health centers on all new entrants and on employees returning from leave and vacations.

Visits will be limited to one person per resident.

Three recommendations:

  • Limit social encounters to the closest coexistence group
  • That a maximum of 10 people
  • That PCR is performed on workers in social and health centers on a frequent basis.
