So it is called the Virgen de la Estrella.

Holy Thursday, The Brotherhood of the Star went viral for its bravery, although the brave ones were the brothers who took it out on the street in 1932 durante la época de la República. En aquel momento con una persecución religiosa notoria, lo que hicieron fue heroico. Por su fé se arriesgaron los cofrades ya que la Virgen fue apedreada en las calles Tetuán y Rioja. Incluso le lanzaron un artefacto explosivo de fabricación casera y le dispararon con tres tiros en la Plaza del Triunfo. Los valientes cofrades completaron finalmente el recorrido. El regreso de la Cofradía hasta el templo trianero de San Jacinto fue una apoteosis de fervor. Miles de sevillanos acompañaron a los hermanos, desagraviando a la Virgen de la Estrella en una pletórica demostración de sentimiento religioso. A su estación de penitencia acudió Sevilla entera, uniéndose en el testimonio viril de la Hermandad de temple y valor a raja tabla.
