The oldest church in Seville is in the popular district of Triana and it is the parish of Santa Ana. The construction of this church dates back to the thirteenth century and according, It is collected in a wall of the building, was created as an offering to Santa Ana for the cure of eye disease that afflicted the King Alfonso X El Sabio.
