In the constant search for most significant bibliographic treasures that have survived the passage and the weight of history, I have spent, together with all those who are part of M. Moleiro, the last 25 years with the close, necessary and indispensable complicity of directors, conservatives, Photographers, restorers and countless people with whom I share the passion to preserve, study and make visible, as the treasure that is, the bibliographic heritage bequeathed to us by the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

All our works have been carefully selected: fascinating atlas where rhumb lines coexist with mythological animals, carts pulled by lions in his drunken Bacchus walks or Jupiter seduces Juno. Codices reveal the secret of happiness or teach us to turn all metals into gold. ancient codices or ancient miniatures that shake us by its beauty and once seen is impossible
to forget: Beatus. Works with the roots of our past, that condition our present.

The best witness to the quality of our work is, course, knowledge of our "almost-original", where you can see that not only reproduce the same color and thickness of the scrolls, exact sizes, binderies, sewn, damage inherent in their avatars but also the texture and even smell the passage of time has impregnated them. In summary, we do what others do not: goal
marked us even when M. Moleiro only existed in thought.

Many pages can be written about any of our "almost-original" reproduced so faithfully that They are barely distinguishable from the original codex, who had in their hands emperors and kings. Codices covering a wide variety of interests, from the most mundane to the most spiritual, and constitute an exquisite library. A library only "worthy of kings", as Alfonso X the Wise said. However, M. Moleiro we are very proud to multiply the kings.

Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who get rich with these treasures, to patrons today that allow us to continue our conservation work, study and dissemination of bibliographic heritage of all and for all in present and future.

Manuel Moleiro
