Sevilla will celebrate the European Researchers' Night next 25 September.

More than a hundred researchers and 46 activities star in the Seville edition of The European Researchers' Night, which takes place next 25 September and again resumed the city center, the Plaza Nueva, with a clear objective: bring scientific research to citizenship.

With the slogan 'Women and men who do science for you', researchers from the National Research Council (CSIC), and the Universities of Seville and Pablo de Olavide, from all areas of knowledge, will conduct workshops, microencuentros and shows designed to find fun and informative language.

So, visitors can participate in numerous activities, and extract their own DNA, learn to protect themselves from the sun, traveling inside a microchip or how to make your own car Formula 1.

This edition aims to surpass the number of visitors, which he exceeded last year 10.000 visits. The first step was already taken, because several weeks before the celebration are covered 95% of places reserved through the initial platform of European Researchers' Night.

To achieve this successful participation have distributed a total of 10.000 diptychs with the program and put into operation for the first time this year a mobile application (ERN 15 Seville) in which you can view all the details of this event. In addition, the Universities of Seville and Pablo de Olavide arranged a 50 volunteers to help organize.

European Researchers' Night is coordinated by the Discover Andalusia Foundation and organized by the Higher Council for Scientific Research Event (CSIC) and the Universities of Seville and Pablo de Olavide, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Economy and Knowledge of the Government of Andalusia, the Department of Health of the City of Sevilla, Old Town District, Kometasoft, Tussam, SACRIFICE, Emasesa and the Andalusian Federation of Gypsy Women (Fakali).

This is an event promoted by the European Commission within the framework of actions Sklodowska-Curie Marie Horizon program event 2020 and is held simultaneously in more than 350 European cities.
