The exhibition is proposed is a classic retrospective, in the sense that strong points and moments of wide production of Luis Gordillo listed (Seville, 1934) to establish a route in which most of his creative periods are addressed, and the various means by which counted. Likewise, in his first appearance in Seville, a chronological development grouped by specific rooms that take into account the following stops continues: its automatic drawings in relation to the informalismo; their heads relatives of British pop with tricuatropatas, pedestrians and motorists; drawing as the backbone of its production of the years 70 along with their experiences with the photographic image and seriality for most of the decade; the 80 marked mainly in the series of meanders; the 90 clustered around one of his most important paintings Snow White and the fierce Pollock; the 2000 with new media and techniques experimentations ushering digital, to finish the tour with a new set of heads made in the year 2015. At the same time, a space is dedicated to trying to show how he builds his works from a reconstruction or simulation study.

After the retrospectives at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, in 1999 and Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, in 2007, it is intended that this is the most important exhibition that has since been organized on an overall view of the work of Luis Gordillo, one of the most famous Spanish artists and valued, which has, inter alia, the following awards: National Prize of Plastic Arts 1981, Andalusia Prize of Plastic Arts in 1991, Gold Medal of Fine Arts in Madrid 1996 and Velázquez Prize 2007. In addition, Luis Gordillo is Favorite Son of Andalusia.
