This exhibition has among its purposes to show the main lines that mark the most contemporary and current vision of the two most important institutional artistic collections in Malaga: that of the Malaga Provincial Council and that of the Unicaja Foundation, who unite in this exhibition project their commitment to culture and the plastic arts.

‘18 x 2. Institutional collecting in Malaga ’is a small sample with a supposed mirror effect when gathering works of 18 artists present in both collections: Carmen Aguado, Carlos Aires, Pilar Albarracín, Gabriel Alberka, Pablo Alonso Herráiz, Pepe Bornoy, Enrique Brinkmann, Pepa Caballero, Carlos Canal, Rosa Correia, Rafael González Alvarado, Evaristo Guerra, Francisco Hernández Díaz, Joaquín Ivars, Begoña Montalbán, Titi Pedroche, Dámaso Ruano and José Vertedor Rodríguez.
