In the season 2023-2024 in Sala Cero Teatro we will bet on classical music again through the Cycle 'Almaclara, Classic on stage'. This is the VIII edition of a project that we present together with Almaclara and that seeks to make classical music a closer and more accessible genre for the general public.. The cycle has a total of ten concerts. You can enjoy each of them individually or by purchasing subscription for four concerts (in which you can choose from among all the concerts of the season, except for the family proposal, ‘With ropes and… crazy!!’). The artistic director of Almaclara, Beatriz González Calderón highlights that "for the eighth consecutive year, Almaclara, Clásica on stage returns to Sala Cero Teatro to offer a musical alternative that is already consolidated in the city and with a clear commitment to chamber music and to the vindication of the role of women in the History of Music”.

Obertura en re menor – Emilie Mayer (arr.)
Tres romanzas, On. 22 – Clara Schumann (arr.)
Seranta para cuerdas – Antonin Dvorak (120º aniversario de su muerte)

Culminamos la temporada con un programa eminentemente romántico para la orquesta al completo. La primera parte, encabezada por dos de las autoras paradigmáticas del siglo XIX centroeuropeo: Emilie Mayer y Clara Schumann, será una recreación para orquesta de cuerda de dos de sus obras, con las que conoceremos mejor su estilo compositivo y su imaginario creativo. En la segunda parte cruzaremos el océano para rendir homenaje a Dvorak en el 120º aniversario de su muerte. Y lo hacemos a través de la imprescindible Seranata para cuerdas, obra de juventud que escribió unos años antes de trasladarse a Estados Unidos y abrir ese camino de fusión entre el romanticismo y los temas populares americanos. Un fin de temporada con el que queremos representar la nobleza y la fortaleza de nuestros protagonistas a través del árbol que une las dos orillas, el corazón de roble.
