Andalucia: Two deaths and six new outbreaks

The Ministry of Health and Families has reported this Sunday that there are currently 108 active outbreaks in Andalusia, after registering 6 new shoots in the last hours.

In the Autonomous Community there are 51 outbreaks that are no longer active.

The new outbreaks have been located in the following provinces:

  • Granada (2)
  • Huelva (1)
  • Málaga (1)
  • Jaén (1)
  • Seville (1)

All are in the investigation phase and none have more than six confirmed cases.

Andalusia has registered in the last 24 hours 287 new positives, reaching a total of 17.254 contagions since the health crisis began.

Yesterday they were detected 344 positive, so today's figures represent a decrease in the number of daily cases.

In addition, in the community two people have died in the last hours.

At present, 106 confirmed patients with COVID-19 remain admitted to Andalusian hospitals, of which 17 are in ICU.

In the last hours five new patients have needed hospitalization, none in ICU.

By provinces:

  • Almería (48 hospitalizations, of which 10 and UCI)
  • Cádiz (10 hospitalizations, of which 2 and UCI)
  • Córdoba (10 hospitalizations, of which 1 and UCI)
  • Granada (8 hospitalizations, of which 1 and UCI)
  • Huelva (3 hospitalizations, of which 1 and UCI)
  • Jaén (5 hospitalizations and none in ICU)
  • Málaga (15 hospitalizations, of which 2 and UCI)
  • Seville (7 hospitalizations and none in ICU).
