The Guitar Festival of Sevilla has invited his scenario, along its six previous editions, illustrious names of flamenco guitar. But this year, in its seventh edition, He decided to submit the First International Flamenco Guitar Contest. The event was held from 13 and 14 October 2016, can participate in those guitarists who at the time of its inception had aged 15 and 35 years old.

Meeting on 14 October, the judge, after hearing the finalists, He decided to award first prize to Yago Santos, Alvaro Mora second and third Marcelo Palanco, now show on the boards of the Central Theater talent and mastery of the guitar.
