Did you know that El Tesoro de Tomares is among the 10 most important archaeological finds 2016, by National Geographic?

This exhibition will present to the public one of the most important findings in the province of Sevilla: the largest collection of Roman coins discovered in Spain and one of the largest in the world.

The museum takes almost since its discovery (the 27 Last April) working on this exhibition. The media impact was so great and so immense curiosity aroused, that from the moment the Ministry of Culture is committed to its research and dissemination, to learn more and pass that knowledge. That is the origin of this exhibition.

Being able to see these amphorae is a privilege, which can also be brief, and probably in early January to be removed from exposure to initiate a thorough research study, which will involve numerous analyzes, with different technologies applied.
